What Are Product Reviews?
Several businesses started their eCommerce stores during the pandemic. This allowed people to view and order whatever they liked from the comfort of their homes.
With so many eCommerce stores opening, it gets difficult to separate the good ones from the bad.
That’s when we need metrics through which we can measure the success of businesses.
One such performance metric is product reviews. Reviews of an eCommerce store help us decide which stores to choose from.
Similarly, it can also help us in deciding which products to choose from.
Product reviews are left by customers after they’ve ordered, received their products, and used them. These product reviews help potential customers in decision making.
Importance of Product Reviews
Ratings are one of the top parameters used by customers to judge a business. As you get more positive product reviews, your rating increases.
This makes you look like a reliable business owner and encourages them to buy from you. Most customers form an opinion after reading reviews. Reviews work similarly to personal recommendations and they help customers in making decisions.
Product Reviews are important for your Shopify dropshipping store. It’s important to have them on your Shopify store.
We at WeFullFill only sell winning products and also provide shipping so you don’t have to worry about negative reviews with us.

Follow the steps below:

- Log in to your Shopify dropshipping store admin account.
- Go to Apps > Product Reviews.
- Click Settings > Import
- Select your desired CSV file and click import.
Wait for the import process to finish. There, that’s how you can import product reviews to your Shopify store in 6 simple steps.
How To Get More Reviews?
Are you pondering how you can get more reviews? Well, the answer to that is not that difficult. All you have to do is ask.
That’s right! You’ll be surprised to know how many shoppers are willing to leave a review. But you have to remind them to leave a review after some time since they’ve purchased the product.
In a survey conducted by Trustpilot over 60% of shoppers leave a review after purchasing a product and 83% of them were positive.
Other than simply asking for a review, you can offer your customers an incentive if they leave a review.
You could offer them a discount which they can avail the next time they shop at your store.
This will encourage your customers to leave reviews and in return, they will be rewarded adequately.
You just have to make the procedure easy for your customers. Some customers find the process too complicated and leave before they can post their review.
You have to remind them to leave a review after the purchase is made. Sometimes even regular customers forget to leave a review.
How To Handle Reviews?
Here’s how we at WeFullFill suggest you handle your product reviews.
Moderating Your Reviews
Check your reviews regularly and approve the appropriate ones. This doesn’t mean you start discarding the negative reviews. We’ll tell you how to tackle negative reviews in another section below.
A customer puts in a lot of effort to write a review, it might frustrate them if you do not approve them. So moderate them accordingly, if you find a review to be inappropriate or spam you can discard it.
Responding To Reviews
You should try to respond to as many reviews as you can. This shows your customers that you truly care, that’s why you took time out to respond to them.
You don’t need to respond to all of them but try to reply to as many as you can.
Thank the customers for leaving a review and answer any queries your potential customers have.
This will make a huge difference and will enable customers in making a decision to whether to buy from you or not.
What to do with negative reviews?
Figure 3: Dealing with negative reviews
No matter how hard you try it is difficult to satisfy each of your customers 100%. Sometimes it could be a mistake made at your or our end which could cause the customer to leave a negative review.
Now the question is, what to do with the negative review?
First of all, do not remove them. This will bring down the overall rating but it will make your Shopify dropshipping store look even more credible.
Secondly, it presents you with an opportunity to respond to the negative review and try to sort things out.
Other potential customers will possibly read this review and know how devoted you are to satisfying your customers.
Most of your customers will be regular shoppers, they need a mix of both good and bad reviews to help them make the decision.
And even if you get a bad review, it would definitely not be about the quality of the product because we at WeFullFill only sell high-quality products.
